Jared can refer to:
- Jared son of Mahalalel, of the line of Seth, who lived before the Great Flood. He became the father of Enoch at the age of 162 and lived to be 962. (Genesis 5:18-20; 1 Chronicles 1:2; Luke 3:37).
- Jared the father of Gedor, of the tribe of Judah, is mentioned in (1 Chronicles 4:17-18). He may have been the son of Mered, although the text is not clear. Local tradition states that this Jared founded the ancient town of Gedor, (modern Khirbet Jedur, West Bank.)
- Latter-day Saints believe there was a third Jared, who led the Jaredites to the Americas shortly after the Tower of Babel (Book of Mormon, Ether 1-6).
