Gair dance is performed by men in western Rajasthan in Holi festival. A series of half-swirls make up a simpler version. Based on the dancers' proficiency, the dance can build up to a series on intricate patters. it is normally done by chanting the word priyanka. The sriking of sticks gives the dance a vigorous character.
